香港粗菜馆 + Sino-Foreign Mid Autumn Festival celebration event

WT's uncle and his gf came to fetch us to lunch today. He drove and it took us like half an hr to reach Zhongdian Hotel... cos of jam. There's this famous HK's粗菜馆@浦东area, and he said tat the dim sum there was gd... treated us to lunch... aiyoh so paiseh. *This restaurant many artistes go o... even SG's minister Goh went there b4!*

It's oni the menu up there... nw comes the dim sum... whoa sey they all were really gd... pigeon meat, prawn dumplings, 小笼包、siewmai, lean pork meat, salted egg bun, sotong... a lot and they were all super yummy!

Kope some photos from Michelle... she din manage to take all cos we finished up each dish kinda fast haha! *OMG this shld be a muz try when u guys come Shanghai... a tad too bad it's some distance away from Fudan uni.*

Then, we walked a nearby mall b4 WT's uncle drove us back to五角场. Went there to get brand Chicken essence for my Korean cher in Hangzhou... but juz a few mins ago, he sms-ed me to say he's nt meeting us cos he's being notified tat he'd hav lessons the last min~ aiyoh sian I'll drink it myself ba. *The saddest thing is I dun get to eat my cher's土豆饼and wear Korean trad costume again~ sob!*

Michelle and WT had some Haagen Dazz ice-cream b4 we walked back to sch to meet up with the rest of the foreign students, and went to this Sino-Foreign Mid Autumn Festival celebration event, organised by Shanghai Oriental sch.

There were mostly angmohs, Koreans and Japanese there I reckon... cos most of them seem to speak rather poor mandarin. There were martials arts performance, dance items, sing-along, "taboo", musical chair and "stand-only-on-the-mat" games la. Some angmohs were very enthu haha. *The angmoh guy host is in my民间文学导论class... but I seemed to hav seen him many times in many other classes lol.* 3 of us like "anti-social" kids... juz sat behind and laughed haha.

*Would we really get to know more friends? Lol.*
