Kate and Leopold
Met Michelle and we went for the GIP talk at NTU together. Didn't expect to see HX. She called out to me haha. She said she'd nt have been able to recognise me if nt for the recent chats we have on FB on our idols, DBSK haha. LM was there taking temp for all the attendees too.
So GIP's kinda ex after all. One senior went to India and juz came back a wk ago... her Eng's gt a bit of Tamil accent nw lol. Talk ended near 12pm, so 3 of us went for refreshments... hmm so-so nia.
Went health check. Tot cham liao again. The nurse said both of us were ok to go.
*Still think sth's wrong with my health haha. Yeah, I'm kinda paranoid about this.*
Afternoon at home, lazing ard, chatting with mum. Time really diff to pass from 3-5pm... even if it means at home haha. Caught "Kate and Leopold", starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman.
Hailing from the 19th century, Duke Leopold Alexis Elijah Walker Gareth Thomas Mountbatten (very long name~) came to the 21st century unexpectedly, thru a时光隧道. He met Kate Mckay thru her ex, Stuart. And began his journey of "ancient-meets-now"...
I shall assume most Eng man from the 19th century speak like the duke in this movie haha... super gentlemanly! You can imagine those scenes that were supposed to appear in the past/dramas, coming alive in 21st century (i.e. Leopold riding on a white horse to“英雄救美”, standing up when a lady leaves the dining table etc.) Too romantic le lol... he blew the career woman Kate away with his charisma.
Rather funny movie.
但我想这两种人很难在一起。
上、上世纪的人太注重生活情调，一切要完美。
而21世纪的我们生活则步伐太过仓促，不愿意/没闲暇去看经过的风景如何。
