24/9/10:杭州之旅day 3

I guess Mr.Weather decided to be kind and "turn gd" for the 3rd day of our trip since he knew we were gg to pray and back to ZUCC haha. We took bus to the interchange at杭州站and took K7 bus direct to灵隐寺. It was quite a long journey, passing thru西湖along the way...

The moment we alighted, there were a few "bodyguard-looking" guys directing us whr to go. We din listen of cos, and went to the female toilet since they seemed to be pestering and following us. This auntie came and sell us joss sticks and told us about hw to go about praying there. We were doubtful at 1st of cos since it's nt the same as hw QW taught us things would go about, and Michelle wasn't much willing to buy from her nor listen to her. WT and I were kinda confused, but I tot the lady couldn't be "of much harm" la, and so in the end, we each gt RMB10 worth of joss sticks and she led us to the small bus interchange, and told us to took a mini van which costed us RMB1.50 each, up to上天竺(法喜讲寺).

The surrounding was peaceful haha. One entrance ticket was RMB10. The temple practices here were a lil' different in the sense tat one doesn't burn ur joss sticks when u go inside the temple, but u simply pray and place them in front on a table. *QW said it's to prevent big fire from happening la.* Oh man 3 of us had a hard time separating the joss sticks by hand cos they were stuck like 3 to 4 together, and we broke like dunno hw many joss sticks, and had to throw them away. All in all, we visited天王殿、圆通殿、88尊悲像etc.
Then, we headed down to中天竺, and somehw I enjoyed the walk along the way. *Those China grandma hor... can even run leh~ so energetic sia!* After again another several rounds of praying and a donation, we board the van out, and switched to a bus, and alighted somewhr at西湖area so we could take a cab to ZUCC.

ZUCC was some distance away from the place we board our cab, so it costed us like RMB30+. Oh man~浙江大学城市学院!It was so empty when we reached, cos it's holiday then.
This is a place filled with memories ba... haha. Michelle and I felt like we were back to when we were 18/19 yrs old 3yrs ago lol! The stroll from the main gate to our教学楼(sadly the lecture rms were locked), and then the "Wheelock place-like library", and our hostel of cos!
Guess who we saw!? Michelle told me the lobby aunties were still there (though I can't recognise), and yes we found the洗衣服阿姨~ she's "chubbier" nw haha! She said Michelle hasn't changed a bit, but I did... hair longer mah haha. She was happy we went back, and we chatted abit. She told us there were 12 SGreans there, still staying at the 2nd flr whr we used to stay... 8 boys and 4 gals haha.
See hw the SG students decorated the hall we used to hav? And even though it's "Sentosa", it still feels home to them I believe haha. J1-211 is nw occupied by 4 boys, they even stuck a note saying "We're from SG, hope to know u guys." LOL~ WT was like urging me to knock and say hello to them haha. *WZ, QW, HL... our rm eh. Saw this?*
Then, we walked to北秀楼cos I missed the西米露奶茶... apparently the boss's nt there, and it was done by another lady... nt as nice le.
Headed straight for舟山东路...
Some familiar stalls were still there, like鸡蛋灌饼and菜饼... but there were new ones as well. Sadly, the黑胡椒猪肉意大利面restaurant倒闭了... and aiyah... juz some kind of feeling is no longer here... nt the same anymore.
There were still地摊la, but I felt their pricing were more ex nw. Had dinner at one of the Korean restaurant we had last time... The bibim bap(RMB15) was still as nice.
Michelle and I brought WT down the long stretch of舟山东路... and tat gal liked the place too haha. We eventually gt our fav北京烤鸭~ and shared in the hostel rm at night... super delicious lor!
*回家的路上,又是一番的感触良深;一些不舍和想念扰乱思绪了。。。*

Poor slpy me... WT and Michelle wanted HTHT chat at night since it was our last night staying together in the hotel at Hangzhou... we talked till like 3+am ba? Okie... nt bad a session la.
