22/9/10：杭州之旅day 1

It was near the break of dawn in Shanghai when I woke up on 22nd Sep... 5am in the morning. Took the pic below at about 5.30am... the sky is already beginning to turn blue here haha... earlier than SG. The weather was colder than a few days b4.

Met WT and Michelle at the lobby at 6am... dang those 2 womens' gt like 2 big luggages each... esp WT... her purple luggage is "big till exaggerating" lor haha. We cabbed to江湾镇MRTand took line 3 to上海火车站. Was rather early like near 7am when we reach, so we had some dumpling soup for breakfast there... nt nice de. *Tat cashier auntie gave me attitude somemore... aiyoh.*

Carried our luggages and walked towards the train station at about 7.30am, and I saw the动车for the 1st time in my life haha! It was rather clean and spacious.

Began to rain when the train drove off. It was a near 2hrs ride to杭州... kinda comfy along the way... travelling at up to 170km/hr.

Reached at 10am, and we took a cab to我的客栈99连锁酒店at秋涛路which we booked online earlier. It was RMB239 per person for 3 nights (including an extra bed cost of RMB50 per night)... nt ex but the price already more ex than usual's RMB99 per night due to中秋假日.  

It's an extra large电脑房, so we could use internet for free. Then, we cabbed down to龙翔and明珠shopping malls at延安路for shopping! *A pity工联's no longer there due to the MRT construction.* WT and I bought quite a bit of clothes and shoes. We saw quite a few idol shops at the new明珠mall too... Korean idol craze really. *WT's "drooling" over Kyu Hyun lol~*

It was raining kinda heavily, and there was drastic drop in the temp... about 6degrees ba from the forecast. 3 of us gt dizzy after twirling round and round in the malls, so we decided to go eslewhr and all we could tot of was the购书中心nearby.

No longer same as 3yrs ago as in some sections in the store has shifted... couldn't find the books I wanted. *No more DBSK DVDs le~* After tat, we headed to the Pizza Hut we usually went for dinner 3 yrs ago haha. I tried the samba seafood pasta (RMB28 b34 20% discount)... ooh shiok! Their choco ice-cream cake was yummy as usual haha.

It was oni about 7pm after our dinner but it was somehw freezing outside! *Shld be due to the sudden drop in temp and we can't take it.* Michelle was oni in tee and shorts... so we dropped the idea of gg to西湖and cabbed back to hostel haha.
