HT's belated 23rd bday meetup + FOC meeting + NCSS day 1

Alina and I met at Somerset 313 at 12pm on Sunday to get HT's 23rd bday gift.Tot of getting her some facial pts, so we walked ard 313 but in the end gt her the Hada Labo toner and face masks at Taka instead haha.

Alina and I sat at MOS Burger while waiting for the bday gal to arrive, and I "accidentally" found out about her new bf nw haha... they gt together juz a few days ago. She plans to tell ppl till when she thinks they're stable as a couple, and well I agree this is a gd idea in a way. Kinda surprised at the fact tat her bf's actualli gd at make-up and knows quite a lot about taking care of one's skin! And also cooking, reading, healthy foodstuff blah~ seems knowledgeable lol. Though, Alina's mum does mind him being a bit shorter than her haha. *Nvm, he sounds a pretty "gd-catch"... Alina~ "grab onto him" LOL!*

3 of us went to 313 and Alina bought herself a pair of sandals tat she'd be eyeing on when she saw her colleague wore one... $50+. It's pretty. Then, we lazed ard at the basement and HT had her sushi, while I gt some Takoyaki balls for tea break? Lol. *HT永远“潇洒”lor... rarely see her bring even a small bag whenever we go out!*

Wat a lazy afternoon! We left for dinner soon after at The Heerens... HT wanted to eat pasta so we headed to Waraku... I haven't had it in some time anyway. The prawn and mushroom pasta in wafu cream sauce was nice o! The 2 gals enjoyed their pasta and rice too~ *Alina was so gd at "eavesdropping" to a convo bet. a escort and a Jap tourist gal nex to us LOL.* 

Took some pics with Alina and HT's phones... they were having much fun with their phone applications haha. *I'm not a camwhore, I'm nt photogenic, so I get sick of looking at myself in pics sometimes haha~ 我的照片，是点滴的回忆。*

Left the place at 6.30pm cos I had to meet up with SS and YQ plus FOC ppl at SMU for our meeting. *HT~ hope u liked the gifts from us!* 

The meeting was a rather simple one, and let's juz pray everything falls in place during the Seniors' Camp. Leon, YQ, SS, GF, Wan Jing, Wen Jie and I went to The Cafe Cartel for night dessert... 50% off some of the desserts according to Leon. YQ was full, while I was too broke and full for any dessert, so we simply sat there and talked haha. SS insisted on eating her "lovers' fantasy" dessert and poor Wen Jie had to share with her lol. Leon worst ba... he had dinner oni at 10pm sia... busy man o~

Woke up this morning at 7.40am and headed down to NCSS for my 1st day of temp assignment there this sch holiday. William was no longer HOD of RAD CCF, replaced by SL. *Oops she looks rather strict neh... cham.* Catherine gt her hair short nw, and briefed me a little on wat I was supposed to do. Then again, I had to wait for the IT department's ppl to create a userid and pw for me b4 I could hav access to PCs. *Oh man this is gonna take like a wk ba...* 

Well so basically today was a visit back to CCF (which Eileen tot I was there for~ haha), and catching up with my colleagues. Some人事调动there... YY, Regina, HQ already left the office. But my "gd old friend" LL's still there la~ haha which I was rather happy about cos we could crack non-stop together hehe. Oh nw there's 2 other temp staffs: WX (absent today cos it's her bday I heard haha~) and GA. *Catherine was saying I could call GA "ah boy" or Mr.Pink" LOL~ but no la... I oso nt tat much older than him!* GA and LL are "siblings"... 手足情深o~

Anyway, LL told me she had a "welcome gift" for me and I was thinking "She must hav spent money again..." and then the thing below appeared b4 me haha...

It's the rejected mail... all the way from Shanghai back to SG! This article was supposedly the X'mas gift LL gt for me when I was in Shanghai last yr! I rmb-ed back then she told me to check my mail box every nw and then during X'mas season but I checked daily for wks and still received nth from her. *My heart sorta sank when I learnt tat my present was most prob "lost in sea"~* LL ah... I "dragged-my-heavy-luggage-back-with-a-heavy-heart-back-to-SG-tat-was-without-ur-Xmas-present" neh~ HEHE. But shld I say it's luck or fated tat the parcel actualli gt sent back to SG cos by 15th Jan 2011 it reached Shanghai (and I reckon my hostel's letterbox a few days after?) and I no longer stayed at the foreign dorm, so the好心postman gt it delivered back to SG to LL. Though it's stamped there "9th March 11", I reckon tat was the date they finally "concluded" this shld come back to SG cos LL oni received it recently she said haha.

It's a namecard holder! I don't hav one currently and this would definitely come in handy in future for me haha! Thks a lot LL!

Dorothy, LL, GA and I had lunch at the market near Holland V. The水饺面($2.50) I had was nt bad. *Aiyoh Ghim Moh Market had to be closed for washing today... don't care I missed the food there... wanna eat tml!*

Continued chatting with LL and GA throughout the whole afternoon... basically din do any work at all haha. We were talking about movies and LL was saying hw she dun enjoy sci-fi kind of films, and hw we 2 hated horror shows... but GA enjoys them lol... was even gg to watch one right after work with his sec sch mates... wow haha. *Poor LL was once "cheated" by her friend on her bday... brought her into a theatre screening horror film... I'd "faint" if I were her lol.*
