Charlie St.Cloud + The Invention of Lying + For Coloured Girls
*rRandom tThought: 如果眼泪是忏悔的结果,那人们会否溺死在一潭悔恨里?*
*rRandom tThought: “这一次,哪怕陨落,也终将坠入花园。”人总在take a plunge前害怕,难道就不相信幻灭后能重生吗?*
*rRandom rRant: 雪人的世界在下雪。这是不好的现象。自作自受。*
It's oni the beginning of sch and I'm stuck bet. which mods to drop nw. I was deciding bet. HC241 and HT9102 at 1st, but nw after hearing words here and there and having attended some lectures... I'm beginning to hav 2nd tots. HC260 looks like there's some memory work to do, and I'm almost bent on taking HC360 (which means a 5-day timetable for me this sem)... E.I.Y.R. It's always like this... 1st 2 wks of a new sem with unsettled timetable kills me... makes lots of things unpredictable. *Juz give me another wk to settle it ba!*
Watched "Charlie St.Cloud".
The story is kinda unjustifiable too... by sci.
Rating: 2/5 (I guess I gt to give some stars for tat deep gaze of blue hehe~)
"The Invention of Lying"... starring Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais.
Saw some sort of温馨in lies too... tat's about hw Ricky married Jennifer in the end too.
Rating: 4/5
After tuition with Nikisha, I caught "For Coloured Girls".
Yes, none other than black girls. 8 black women, each with their own share of sorrows... abuse, betrayal, sex, rape, abortion etc... and it almost all began with the wrong trust in men... in what they believed to be called "love". Maybe it's unfair to shove all responsibilities to men, but it seems to be so in this movie.
The scene whr 1 of the Black woman was telling hw she gt raped by the man she loved moved me somewat. It's sad hw she has to carry the wrong done by the man for the rest of her life.
*Queen Latifah's "I Know Where I've Been" came to mind while I watched this.*
Rating: 3.75/5

Zac Efron is too much of a pretty-face, so much so that I forgot about his acting.

"The Invention of Lying"... starring Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais.
I hav seen Ricky Gervais in some other movies but I can't rmb his name. But due to my fetish for brit-accented Eng... his sounds really“正宗”LOL! I loved this show a lot... it was hilarious! Imagine living in a city whr no one lies. Ricky's the 1st one who lied (kinda nt-on-purpose la), but after he realised "the magic" in lying, he continued with it... white lie or nt, it sorta provided a new belief all over town.
Saw some sort of温馨in lies too... tat's about hw Ricky married Jennifer in the end too.
