IT Fair
If it was in the past, I wouldn’t have bothered about IT fairs.
But nowadays…ah…ppl’s got to learn to be more IT-savvy.
Met Pat and HL, we went Suntec IT fair together. Had lunch at Gelare and the idiot manager’s attitude was bad. Very lazy and when we called him, he act deaf!
Quite a lot of ppl at IT fair…we went 4th flr and 6th flr to find out things. Things like webcams, mics, headphones, hard disk were found on the 6th floor. We went walking ard, compare prices here and there before deciding which to buy. Many pdts were cheaper than usual… few stalls away and u can see the same pdt being sold for a few dollars cheaper. Got myself 2 webcams, a headphone cum mic, a mic, a Samsung mp3…ard $300 gone. *Officially broke cos of the China trip!* I rmbed the 3 of us literally having comm prob with the salesperson…he speaks *Jay-Chou-type-Eng* de leh! Honestly, it’s diff to have “chicken-and-duck-talk” situation nowadays in SG among ourselves since we all at least “bilingually PRO” le…lol.
After that went to Carrefour to look for sleeping shoes…so ex wor! Maybe shld buy in China. We oso went to check out the currency change rate…currently it’s estimated to be S$1=RMB4.91…no more 1:5 rate…haiz.
