Backdate: Korea Jeju - Seoul Jun 2019 Day 6

22/6/19 Sat: We woke up at 7.30am, and departed soon for Jeju airport with the gimbap as breakfast. The car return was nearby the airport and done pretty swiftly. Our TW710 flight for Gimpo airport was at 11.05am, so we checked-in by 10am and had a simple brunch before the flight.
*Look at Potato LOL!* We took bus 601 to Anguk station (bus fare 1300 KRW per person), where our Airbnb was at. *$413.61 for 2 persons for 5-nights' of stay.* The cosy apartment room was located on the 5th floor right at the building outside one exit from Anguk station.
As it was a Saturday, I arranged to visit Hongdae Free Market with Potato by taking the subway to Hongik Uni station (1250 KRW).
We went to Marhen.j flagship store first as I wanted to buy the Ricky bag. We were first invited upstairs to do a short survey about brands of laptops we use, and in exchange, received a free Starbucks latte for that haha. Bought the beige one for 120,600 KRW, but was also refunded 10,964 KRW tax before we flew back to Singapore.
Not that things are "free" per se in the area, but there used to be many handmade accessories and stuff being sold at the flea market. There were less when we went, and nothing caught my eyes either. However, there were many bubble tea shops around though. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed walking around this shopping and food heaven for young people.
We shared early dinner at Osgage. The "bone hangover soup" (7000 KRW) had two black pork ribs and lots of pepper in the soup! Quite shiok at first, but yes it's rather salty too. Then, we walked to the Trick Eye Museum and Ice Museum in Seoul, which was the first AR museum in the world. (S$29.10 for 2 pax from Klook)
One has to download their app, and you could view the AR scenes that comes with each background as you take photos with them. Some of the scenes felt like they "came to life" and it's pretty cool seeing those.
Can't remember how long we spent in the Trick Eye Museum, but it was rather fun! Then, we walked into the small Ice Museum, which was just beside. *Freezing -0.2 degrees Celcius in there!*
I liked the "bedroom" corner but barely a few seconds into sitting down for the sake of taking photos, I jumped up lol. I had Potato's jacket on, so I can't imagine how cold he must have felt... plus we both slid down an ice slide before hurrying out of the "fridge"!
After that, we walked around the area a bit more. I bought two pairs of earrings (16K KRW) for friends. Saw a Harry Potter-themed café, but we could not find the fried chicken place I researched, so we headed back to a chicken and beer place next to our Airbnb for some fried chicken and beer yay! *ticked off Potato's list haha~*
We had sweet chilli and soy chicken wings with beer and soju (27K KRW). It was a different kind of dinner for us and as expected, fried chicken goes well with beer, but I did get sick of it after a while. However, I appreciated that they serve radish cubes along with it as it did help to解腻.
