화유기 + 极道千金 + STC "One Team One Dream" dinner + meetup with Serene & MY at Yeh Ting + Jess's belated 31st bday @ Scaled + dental appointment + PotaTOH's anniv wedding photoshoot + Toh family early CNY reunion dinner

Watched화유기 (A Korean Odyssey) for이승기, and also because of a "bad boy" fan-made trailer on his character손오공 was done pretty nicely on YouTube haha.

진선미 (오연서) is cursed with the ability to see ghosts and spirits, so she carries a yellow umbrella along with her to protect herself. The little girl met우마왕 (차승원) one day, and it led her to freeing손오공, whom in turn promised to protect her for life. He stole her memory though, and did not keep the promise until many years later, he knew삼장was born and in order to reinstate his own immortal status, he plans to find삼장and eat삼장, whom turned out to be우마왕...

Unlike your traditional "Journey To The West" of plain killing demons and西天取经之事, 삼장turns into a women here and falls in love with his No 1 disciple, 손오공. Interesting concept and humour here, but it did felt a bit draggy at some parts.

极道千金... funny 6-episodes' drama of a triad princess whom idolises a big star and they fell in love one day. 刘以豪和刘奕儿看来挺登对的。不过，曹佑宁也帅haha。

6/1/20 Mon: Had lunch with Potato at Malaysia boleh and we also met Thompson, Ian's ID friend for a quotation for our house. His company looked like a contractor-ID sort.
Went for STC's "One Team One Dream" staff celebration dinner in the evening. Theme was "tropical chic" and some tables of staff actually did dress up. No more hotel banquets and it was down to free flow buffet and bbq live stations at the marquee this time. Talked to Rosly for a bit as it's been some time since I met him. Won $20 CapitaLand voucher only in the sure-win lucky draw.

7/1/20 Tues: First aerial yoga class in 2020, after 3 weeks’ of break for me. Last year, we did “scorpion pose” for the new year and this year, we have “inverted tree pose” haha! It’s the start of something new~

8/1/20 Weds: Had dinner with MY and Serene at Yeh Ting Hainan Cuisine at Civics Plaza. The coconut chicken soup tasted quite good, though additional refills would cost money. Not a cheap option, but it's the first time the 3 of us gathered after MY and Serene left STC, so it's all in all a good chit-chat.

11/1/20 Sat: Ate mhk at market with Potato and we caught a bit of "Terrace House" back at my place in the afternoon. Met Jess in the evening for her belated 31st birthday dinner at Scaled by Ah Huat Kelong! *Recommended that to her as PotaTOHs loved it when we ate with WZ & Jere.*

2 of us could not share as much, so we ordered the Canto Grouper, mussels with curry and fried mantou and seabass pasta. We literally sat down at a corner on the second floor to eat and talk for close to 4 hours lol! Glad she liked the food. *Good that we can speak our minds and share things!*

13/1/20 Mon: Went for my bi-annual dental checks to do the usual cleaning and scaling of the teeth. *Still haven't extract the upper right molar tooth after many years though I think I will in this year as I'm pretty decided on doing tooth implant. It's very expensive though.*

14/1/20 Tues: I kept thinking that the lady standing in front of me in class looked familiar, and it was only after a while into class did I realise she is the actress洪凌. I suppose both she and her boyfriend were there for either a trial or on classpass. 

16/1/20 Thurs: It's PotaTOH's monthsary and I shared more shots of our wedding photos from Sum Studio on FB. *Potato的鼻子好挺啊！*

19/1/20 Sun: Met Potato at Northpoint and we bought strawberry and chocolate cake from Four Leaves for FIL and MM's birthday. Headed out earlier to Sembawang Shopping Centre with in-laws and Potato, we window-shopped around Giant as MIL was looking for her seat cushions. She did not find anything to her liking but instead Potato saw "the love of his life" and "insisted" that he wants to buy one of those soft fur rugs for our home next time lol.

MM and Andre were already waiting for us in front of深记, famous for their duck. We ordered their duck, chicken, kale, winter melon soup and sweet and sour pork for an early CNY reunion cum FIL and MM's birthday dinner this year. I liked their chicken and pork very much! The price was pretty reasonable too... $126. MM and Andre drove us back to Pioneer at night, and we even met Francine on the train at Boon Lay coincidentally haha.

21/1/20 Tues: Managed to succeed in holding the final pose below on my left side lol~ but I think I put my legs wrongly in the sense that the right leg should be straight and pointing out whereas the left should be bent instead. Sweat well tonight in class too!

*rRandom tThought: "New responsibility" for my own finances as I start out small steps in doing my own investments. Simple ones and I shall monitor and see how things go for the year!*
