Backdate: Norway, Sweden, Finland Nov - Dec 2025 Day 11
7/12/25 Sun: Got up at 8am and ate breakfast at 8.30am. Anthony, Gracie, Sidney and WS were playing outside in the snow with the sleigh rides, but I think I wasn't feeling too well, so we did not join in. The bus left at 10am, and Kee arranged for us to have lunch at Hotelli Suomutunturi at noon.

*My attention was on the ski slope out there, not the zone-out Mao keke~* They had terrible service there. 30sLGEgang went for the ala carte food with Lina and YH, though the buffet was cheaper. The waiter gave us carbonara pasta (€18) when we ordered Bolognese pasta (€19) simply because the other two dishes were carbonara. He did not even apologise, nor knew the price difference until Potato reminded him! Solution? He told us to eat that or wait (for god knows how long) for kitchen to make bolognese pasta… just utterly bad service. We had to leave by 1.30pm, so settled with this very bad pasta. The spicy wings were overcooked and burnt too.
Arrived at Hillside Huskies Finland OY at 2pm for our rides! There were 18 huskies and three cars for every round of 500m run. It was slippery on the tracks according to the guides that day and it was quite cold too. It was about -7 to -10 degrees Celcius, and my toes and hands both felt quite numb after a while outside.
PotaTOHs took the first sleigh and man these huskies were raring to go! They bolted once our driver let them! It was a speedy ride and top speed can reach 30km/h! Drifts a little at the turns too~ two rounds and the snow and ice kept splattering onto our face lol. Went into the warm fireplace to warm our hands and with some drinks too.
We were given the chance to "steer" the ride too. Potato drove and gave Grace and CM a ride! The adventurous Sidney wanted to give it a try too~ so Diana and I became her passengers.
Easy one~ she did not brake at all. Maybe because the dogs have been going for too many rounds so they were somewhat tired too haha! We were given the chance to pat the animal, but only one female husky was available we most others were fierce.
Of course, she had to be distracted by the treat haha! She has hard fur. After we hopped onto the bus at 3.30pm, the "husbands" went into gaming mode haha as we drove to dinner.
Had dinner at ABC! patrol station at 6.45pm. We ate fish and chips (€14.9) and it's not bad. Probably shouldn't have but everyone also just took drinks ourselves haha~ Left 45 minutes later for the drive to our hotel.Checked in at 9pm to Finlandia Oulu Airport Hotel. It was a simple room on the first floor. We also shared our first tom yam noodles for late dinner! So nice~
