《SG:SW 2026 词曲作者峰会》+ Din Tai Fung with LL

1/4/26 Weds: Linh tried her first aerial yoga class and she did well! The moves this morning were not too difficult.
Potato cooked miso butter garlic spaghetti with seared scallops, king oyster shrooms, mushrooms and Japanese cucumber. It was a new recipe he learned online and so nice! The Tabasco sauce definitely helped cut the grease too.
2/4/26 Thurs: Everything went well for dad's pre-surgery appointment this morning and the doctor said his heart was functioning well despite a part of it protruding or something, hence they hear the murmurs. He will go for his polyps' removal next Thursday.
Had ginger soy sauce wings at my parents’ for dinner~ good! Good thing mum’s blood test report came out well in general, and hopefully the doctor’s medicine and cream can help cure her itch very soon.

3/4/26 Fri: Tower class with Margareth this morning was nice. Not very difficult but there were moves I probably should have executed better, like “the magician” where I didn’t lie just on my shoulder blades but my upper back because cannot hold my plank in mid-air properly lol. Would have been better if I recorded it to see my improvements in future!
Very yummy old winter gourd soup with carrots, dried scallop, onions, wolfberries and red dates Potato cooked tonight! The tom yum chicken with shimeiji shrooms, black fungus and bok choy was good too.
4/4/26 Sat: Potato air-fried FIL's handmade hei zou for us with coral lettuce, and made miso soup with mushrooms. Had a side of a char to go along too. Not bad a combination!
5/4/26 Sun: PotaTOHs had nice prawn noodle at Tanjong Pagar hawker centre for early lunch before attending the《SG:SW 2026 词曲作者峰会》with YR, YX, YE and MX. Hannah’s performance of her two songs《等待你察觉》and《火花》were good. Listened to龚芝怡shared about composing a song, 陈炯顺on arrangements and met a few more budding musicians during the networking session.
We ate Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King for dinner ($32+) before heading home. The red chilli oil charshu ramen was a bit jelak for me probably because I requested for less salt.

6/4/26 Mon: Barre-less Sculpt class with Linh in Esther’s class this morning was tiring but such a nice sweat-out! I need more of low-impact cardio classes weekly because it makes me feel better during and after class!
Supposedly meatless dinner tonight but I accidentally added the century egg dumplings that had minced meat in them aiyah~ still not bad haha.

7/4/26 Tues: Went for Bodhi meditation this morning and it was a good thing there were no panic moments throughout the almost two hours of standing and seated meditation, albeit I think PPPD was still affecting me in the sense I was still a bit nervous now and then, and that I felt my right head was "noisier" while seated down, like my body's unbalanced even if I probably already. Also, it's the first Tuesday of the month, and so they have a 30-minute acupressure point massage session at the end too... was nice I think.
Potato cycled to Gombak MRT to buy salmon don from sushi express for our dinner because I had the craving~ thanks big mao! I cooked the miso soup with the leftover enoki shrooms and it went well with the don.

8/4/26 Weds: Mint suggested I do medicinal oil massage on my lower back for my left hip pain and cold womb for half an hour before we moved on to muscle relief for both legs. Damn painful especially when she massaged my calves using the wooden rod! She said no muscle was protruding from my left hip but the fascia near my left seat bone is tight. *damn I saw big patches of bruises on my left and right thigh after that*
Potato cooked spaghetti alle vongole for dinner and it was nice!

9/4/26 Thurs: Met dad at NTFGH Tower B admissions office at 8.45am for his polyps removal operation this morning. The nurse said his ops was scheduled for 11.15am to 12.30pm.

At 5.20pm, the hospital called and said he can go home. Mum was busy cooking dinner and I was in the midst of tuition, so it ended up PotaTOHs went to fetch dad at 7.30pm or so after dinner. He said he felt okay, so I called a Grab and sent him home.
10/4/26 Fri: Initially thought my haircut session would be quick but after trialling the scalp treatment, it became an almost 2-hour session omg. I thought it was time to pamper myself a bit too, so I bought 13 sessions of the treatment for close to $65 a session. *But I think layering like that don’t really suit me. Bob cut suits me better.*
Potato cooked泡饭for dinner~ yummy~
11/4/26 Sat: Met LL for dinner at Din Tai Fung at IMM instead because Jess was not feeling well. The prawn fried rice got too oily for me after a while, but the xiao long bao was good. Treated LL to dinner because she found her new job at Whispering Hearts and I'm very happy for her after 13 years at her current workplace. Then, I bought a pair of Skechers walking shoes ($44.1) after using Lumihealth vouchers before we continued chatting at Cedele dining over drinks. It was such a nice chat with her, stress-relieving even.
12/4/26 Sun: Tiring work day for me with the South Africa and Kuala Lumpur reports, but Potato cooked a comforting meal for dinner. We had sweet corn, potatoes, carrots and onion soup, which tasted even nice with more pepper hehe, and the teriyaki seared chicken with spinach and carrot slices.
13/4/26 Mon: My deep stretch class at TNP got cancelled this morning~ oh well. Cooked meatless tom yum for our dinner tonight~ Taiwanese ramen noodles with chives and egg dumplings, spinach, cabbage, egg, tofu, potatoes, shimeji shrooms and konjac~
15/6/26 Weds: Busy work day but really enjoyed PotaTOH's rosti and seared salmon~ <3

16/6/26 Thurs: Used Pilates on the spine corrector and the reformer this morning with Margareth and I felt my legs "jellied" for the first time after class in a long time~ could be because I haven't exercised enough these two weeks haiz.
Another busy day at work but I had a good chat with Mansoor about Bakeel. Potato tried out new recipe~ we had yakitori! Oh the oven baked and grilled chicken, scallions (surprisingly I quite liked them~), enoki wrapped in bacon was good! The canned spicy quail eggs were a little spicy haha. Miso soup with cabbage went well with the main.
17/6/26 Fri: Cold soba with prawns and cabbage for dinner tonight cooked by Potato again~ thanks for taking care of me well during my busy (and literally) two-week work!
18/6/26 Sat: Potato cooked lotus root and radish soup, and stir-fried marinated minced pork collar meat with shimeiji shrooms and cabbage~ so nice!
19/6/26 Sun: Thanks to Potato, we enjoyed tom yam maggie noodle with crabsticks, scallops, shimei shrooms, enoki shrooms, egg and cabbage for dinner! So full~

20/6/26 Mon: Attended barre-less sculpt class with Linh this morning and it was tiring as usual, especially my legs omg~ I'm sure DOMS will come looking for me these few days lol.
Was supposed to cook meatless for Monday dinners but I didn't realise the fried beancurd skin had fish meat in it lol. The udon soup with radish, chives and egg dumplings, mushrooms, egg, nai bai, enoki shrooms and lentils still tasted not bad.
22/4/26 Weds: Potato bought new pork gyoza from Don Don Donki which did not need oil nor water to pan fry and it tasted good! Grateful for the hot soba with crabsticks, radish and nai bai for dinner!
23/4/26 Thurs: Nice time on the Tower in Elsie's class this morning. I thought I improved a bit doing the jackknife! Potato cooked cold somen with chicken, cherry tomatoes and Japanese cucumber and miso soup with leek for our dinner tonight, albeit my bowl of miso soup tasted saltier somehow.
