8/3/16 Tues: The legendary horse - Rocket Man at Kranji steps out for a trial, aft a few trackworks and a few yrs away from racing. He still looks fit for a 10yrs old, and pretty nonchalant too haha. It's the 1st time I'm seeing Rocket Man officially at the tracks, though I think I did saw him once or twice before. 2 International Grp 1 champions under his belt, and though it could be tough to see him victorious in Group races again, I still wouldn't mind to see him relive a win when he gets back to the races!

12/3/16 Sat: Potato, Jere, WX, Jess, Rick, XZ, YF, MY, Melvin and I met up for the inaugural BounceOff event at Sentosa. *Oops MY pinched me when she found out about me and Potato keke~* We were supposed to start at 9am for the run, but it got delayed a lil' under the hot sun. There were a total of about 10 or 11 obstacles, and in between obstacles we had to run/walk for some distances. Obviously, my competitive Potato ran (4th leh~ so proud of u!), Jere and WX somehw did too, while the rest of us chose to slack and walk haha.

We perspired as we walked and talked, and I reckon almost every obstacles required some amt of strengths lol. *Even bopping ard wasn't easy neh~* A few obstacles were also deflated at some parts by the time we were on it. *Alamak, we were only the first batch of players leh.* Potato completed the race when we were still 3-4obstacles away from the finishing line, and so he came back to walk with us. 

We headed for lunch at their lunch stop nearby, and Potato and I had their laksa with the $5 coupon we each were given... so-so la. All in all, I reckon the $80 for the race was still not worth it, given that there were so much walking, and we didn't even get to try the water blob, which was kinda the highlight, cos it wasn't opened in the morning! Not gg again.

Dinner with the uni gals at Mr and Mrs Maxwell at night for MT's belated 31st bday. Food choices were limited, ex and it doesn't taste good. We ordered the burning baked Alaska for MT to try... hmm the dessert was meh-meh lor. It's her big wedding year this yr (SS's too), and we hope the best for our大姐of the grp!

14/3/16 Mon: Went for a blood and cholesterol test at Jurong Polyclinic to check my ferritin lvl, and as well as monitor on the cholesterol. Aft lunch, I went to Xquizit Hair Design which Jess recommended to dye my hair. A new guy from Malaysia did the colour and treatment, and it came out brighter than what I wanted awww... not much diff from my previous colour honestly. *I wanted a darker colour, but the guy kept telling me not to choose a colour too dark, if not I might not be able to dye bright colours in future. Oh well, not that I want to go very bright anyway.* 

It was ard $168 if I din rmb wrongly, pretty cheap alrdy for the service so I shall not complain. 

18 - 19/3/16 Fri-Sat: Mum and I went to MBS's Rasapura Master's to have lunch before SS, John, Alex, YJ and Jenny came over at night. *Oh the korean bibimbap was bad.* We got a rm on the 35th flr, and I simply nua-ed thr while waiting for the rest to arrive. Alex, John and SS came at 8+pm with their Mac dinner, and YJ arrived soon aft. Jenny only came over at 10+pm aft her company's dinner. And of cos, cheers to reunion of the African gang!

Had a gd laugh and talk with the guys, and watching TV too! We played rounds of Psych while waiting for our turns to shower haha. Thks to Alex, I think I knocked out only ard 3+, 4am, while Alex, SS and John continued whispering away...

... and the next morning, we woke up to soft backgrd music and the aroma of coffee... thks to Alex again lol! The gang left by 12noon, and had a simple lunch at Bugis Junction's Honguo. *It's tiring, but I still hav tuition with Luke in the afternoon~* 
20/3/16 Sun: Tried the blueberry and rasperry tart mum got from SweetSpots the day before... cakes thr r sweet as ever but not bad o.

21/3/16 Mon: He decided on the place, but I treated Potato to dinner at Andong Zzimdak at Raffles City, for passing his IPPT with a Silver hehe.

It's a serving for 2-3pax, but too much for the two of us la. Basically chicken meat with potatoes and sweet potatos (LOL!) and other veggies in it. The sauce tasted great at first, but we got sick of it gradually too. He ordered a bowl of rice somemore, and regretted afterwards cos he said he could hav finished everything if not for the rice haha.

We were on our way to iLights MBS festival at the Promenade area, and passed by this display at Esplanade. There were many plastic bottles, each on a wooden stick, and connected by what looks like nylon or teflon strings, and the whole thing creates a series of movements together... cool. 

And so I received a bouquet of flowers from him... diff colours this time round! He said the bouquet of red, pink and white daisies he bought this time round is to commemorate our 3rd and 4th mthsary haha~ loved it! 
We walked ard looking at the light displays, and the "angel wings" one looked most popular, cos there r ppl queuing to take photos with it. *Dear took photos of me with his DSLR too.*

Uncle Ringo's fair was in the vincinity too, so we browsed ard as well. *Nowadays the funfair games are so exp.* 

22/3/16 Tues: Had dinner at Time Table cafe with YB, WL and WH. WH was not satisfied, so we moved to KFC for his "2nd meal" lol. All the talks about housings and renovations haha... oh well I learn a bit too I guess!

24/3/16 Thurs: We had CS gathering at the marquee today. Took some fun shots at the photo station, and enjoyed a game of "horse racing"... technically it can be done much better la ah~ sadly I din win any vouchers though.

Ayden and Alina booked ALT Pizza place for dinner for the sisters and brothers for a one last run through of their wedding on Sat, as well as a final dance rehearsal. Nope the pizzas were not nice, nor the wings or calamari. The coconut water was a bit disappointing... not fresh coconut water leh, though the taste was still okay la. Definitely not somewhr I will go again.

Angela, Alina, Ayden, Jokhie, Gareth and I headed to the undergrd walkway ain between Esplanade and City Link to finalise our grp dance. Alina added additional steps to the ladies' dance, but we simplified it again in the end lol. *谁叫我舞跳不好leh~ keke.*

26/3/16 Sat: The superheroes' themed-corsage Alina made for us was cute! Yes and so I woke up at about 3am, and Keith came over to fetch me about 4am. Then, he picked Yvonne, Angela and lastly, ZF up too before we reached Alina's place at 5am. The girls began preparing the materials needed for the gatecrash, while Alina does her makeup in her room. *Whoa I learnt how to do a toga in my infinity dress~ nice.* 

The brothers and Ayden had to do make-up, guess Chinese idioms, and leg massages "in style" lol... nt bad an effort la. Then, we moved on to Bukit Timah railway for our photoshoot. 

The team brought a drone along too... pretty cool when we waved looking at it... but damn the sun was scorching. Moved on with tea ceremony at Ayden's place, some buffet food, and then I took Kenny's car back to Alina's place. *Hmm... Seychelles~ hope Kenny gets to visit thr one day!* Alina's mum ordered buffet for us too, but I had a bit and was too full to have much. Yvonne and I took bus 180 back and changed before we had to go down to Sentosa's Movenpick Heritage hotel by 4+pm. 
Kenny and I went thru the emcee script quickly, and we all helped out with the decor of the reception. Jokhie, Kenny, Gareth, Angela and I did a quick run through of the dance steps again too, to ensure the flow and correct usage of space in front of the stage.  

The dancing part was a lil' messy, and I forgot the steps here and thr, but Alina looked super confident in front~ gd thing though. All in all, everything went pretty smooth, except for the middle part whr Alina took some time to change into her second outfit. *Oh and the guests finished the red wines too whoa~* The brothers and sisters happily took photos aft the wedding reception ended~ YES!

Kenny drove me and his friend home aft tat~ thks! *I saw some Hua Yi-rians that I've nv met before too lol.* 

28/3/16 Mon: Got back my blood test and cholesterol results. The doc says the ferritin lvl is low, so she gave me Sangobion iron pills to take for 3mths. As for cholesterol wise, she saw improvement in my LDL, so she gave me another 3mths to bring it even lower before I go back for a regular check-up again. *Phew~ closer to my goal of getting rid of the unhealthy LDLs... hwaiting!* Met up with Potato, WX and Jere for dinner at En Jap Dining Bar at Alocassia at Stevens stn. 

The sushis were okie imo, and the matcha ice-cream with red beans were nt bad. I bought this Groupon at $150+ for 4 pax... but it was Potato who treated all of us to it haha! Poor dear cos his gastric wasn't feeling well that day, and so we decided to go home aft dinner. Oh well, in conclusion, nth to rave about at this restaurant.

2/4/16 Sat: Aft tuition, I met Potato, Pat, Weng, WZ and Joel at AMK Hub for dinner at Canton Paradise. Potato and I had their shrimp wanton soup noodles... nt bad la. Then, we went to redeem our free $3 of GongCha~ yums. Had a gd chat and laugh outside Coffee Bean about WZ and Joel's upcoming wedding shoot etc haha. *1st couple dates with my poly clique hehe~ 你们久等了lol.* 

4/4/16 Mon: Potato and I went ice-skating, and it costed only $20 for 2pax for 2hrs' session of skating thks to Groupon haha. His ice-skating skills are better than mine la, though he hasn't skated in like years! We were happily gg in rounds, until I fell one time on my left knee... big time sia.

It appeared only as a small bruise and blood clot at first, but aft a few days, huge blue-black patch covering almost the whole knee surfaced, and it was pretty painful. *I shld hav wore jeans la~ even Potato was shocked when he saw me wearing shorts...自作自受lo.* Oh well, I returned to skate for about 40+mins or so aft tat, and Potato tried pushing me in that kid's sail... so kiddish... I rather skate slowly myself haha.

Aft tat, we went for dinner at Eighteen Chefs. The food thr wasn't impressive but it was cheap. I had salmon pasta in broth. 

Potato brought me to Griddy, and we tried their banana ice-cream waffles and mushroom soup... nice o! *Thks for both the treat ah Potato!*
