29/11/25 Sat: Woke up at 6+am after like 10 hours of sleep lol. At 8.30am, we headed down for buffet breakfast and sat with Anthony, Gracie, Izaya and Diana, before Sidney and WS joined us later. Anthony was sharing his miniature projects and that's where the six of us got to know each other more on the trip... and subsequently formed the "30sLGEgang" lol.
We ate quite a bit really and till 10am. After some discussion with the other two couples, Potato decided we could share aUber car to the nearest and only town nearby, Jessheim to spend our day together. Happened to bump into Irene, Amy and Jenny at the corridor, and they ended up going to Jessheim with us. Anthony, Gracie, Potato, me, auntie Jenny and Irene shared a six-seater over at 12 noon. Only took us 10 minutes.It looks to be a pretty town. We saw a few other tour group mates there, but our "first order of business" at Storsenter was their supermarket haha. Think we bought some tidbits (25 nok) and the other two couples went their way while we explored the mall ourselves.
We were not too hungry, so for lunch, we had just five drumlets (95 nok, S$12) at Fly Chicken at 1.30pm. The taste was mediocre and the powder reminded me of MAMEE's.
Saw a bubble tea shop in the mall! I decided to try their Aurora (68 nok, S$8.75) which was a combination of strawberry, lime and butterfly pea flower tea with lychee pops~ nice! Irene, Amy and Jenny told us about a mini Christmas market, so we went there at 2.15pm.There was a nice band playing Christmas songs and the members were mostly talented elderlies~ so cool! Sitting around the campfire made me feel warm and fuzzy~ PotaTOHs soaked ourselves in the mood during that half an hour there.There was also beef burger being cooked on the spot. We did not eat anything but headed to find the other couples who had lunch at Peppe's Pizza. They liked it too haha. We went back to Storsenter mall afterwards and it's quite big actually.Also walked around exploring the neighbourhood more at 3pm or so. We went on a "spring chicken hunt" after one of the tour group auntie shared with us what they bought. *Anthony "the carnivore" definitely made his choice of meat over poke bowl for dinner lol.*
We found it inside MENY but thanks to Potato’s joke, there was really only one (109 nok) left! PotaTOHs bought two thighs and one pasta and a beer (167 nok, S$21.52) instead. We waited for a while to get our six-seater uber and finally booked one that came at 5pm.Took us 15 minutes to reach our hotel. Six of us enjoyed our dinner at the hotel’s lobby. PotaTOHs' chicken thighs, pasta with chicken and Potato's beer was not bad overall. Interesting how we got closer from today onwards haha~Was in a tee and I walked outside the lobby to feel the temperature at 8pm and it felt like -1 degrees Celcius whoa~
