17/1/18 Weds:Started Kickboxing again with Activesg at JW stadium. It's gonna be 12 lessons under new instructor Kelly Ong. Seems like many in class were old-timers with her alrdy. Some choreography to rmb, but they were not as difficult and much to rmb as the male instructor I used to learn from at Gombak. Not as tiring as piloxing, still acceptable, and there are more variety in her cool-down exercises which makes us work our core and abs~ challenging but I think I'll benefit from it!
18/1/18 Thurs: Met YJ for dinner at Marsiling mall. I tried the famous yong tau foo and it was not bad for $4.20. We shared the black carrot cake... soft but a bit oily. Walked over to CWP to hav dessert woohoo~
20/1/18 Sat: Potato wanna catch "The Greatest Showman" cos he heard that the music is good, and so we caught it at JP.
Yes indeed the songs and choreography were very nice! I loved Jenny Lind's "Never Enough" the most somehow. *Ppl are greedy eh.* Loved the overall presentation. Definitely better than "Beauty and the Beast". *OMG I want the whole OST la!*

Potato and I went to meet Ahna, Jess, KW, Clement, LL and KU for KW and Jess's belated bday dinner at Wah Kee Big Prawn Noodle at Esplanade. Potato and KU actually had it at Pek Kio market before, but they tot the ones at the restaurant was inferior as compared.
Yes the dishes were ex, and the waitress were a bit pushy. The big prawn pot is $88, and without add-on of a smaller and near $60 hotpot, there will not be as many ingredients in it. The seafood soup was blander than most ppl tot, but I found it ok for me. Even their五香platter was only so-so to me.
Costed us $180 like that. I'm not gg back thr again.
We went over to Marina Square's foodcourt for some drinks later on and chit-chat, before heading hm.
22/1/18 Mon: Met Justin at District Sushi for dinner aft work. PS he treated me to dinner instead.
Though the $10 promo was no longer valid, the barachirashi don at $13 was still very worthy. It's cheaper than Sushiro, less sashimi as compared but Justin tot they were very fresh. We talked about his work, friends and my policy. I'm happy that he is trying very hard, and I hope success comes to him soon!
25/1/18 Thurs: YJ, Leon and I had Jap food at Jap Food Alley at JP. The kimchi pork udon tasted pretty gd. Then, we watched "신과함께-죄와 벌" (Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds) at 9.35pm. *Little did we know it's 139mins... alrdy 12+am by the time the movie ended.*
It's adapted from a webcomic. Ja-hong, an ordinary fireman died during one of his assignments. He was escorted to hell by head grim reaper Gang-rim, and assigned a public defender (Dukchun) to represent him in 7 trials in 49 days to reflect back on the goods and bads he did.
七关地狱包括“暴力”、“怠惰”、“说谎”、“不义”、“背叛”、“杀人”和“孝”. Very interesting CGs. The implication was while Ja-hong was passing thru his trials, his bro died a vengeful death in army, and wreaked havoc and disrupted the orders in hell, so Gang-rim had to hunt him down while Dukchun and Haewonmak continue to protect Ja-hong along the journey.
We all cried towards the end la.催泪leh the story between Ja-hong, his bro and the mum who was dumb. I think亲情really connects ppl together, whatever your status and identity may be. It makes us think, and to re-think if I were to do or say bad things or that may pose bad consequences to others in future.
*Aft the show, YJ and I started to think how long we'd be "stuck in hell" if we were to go thru those trials. For me, I think being lazy and telling lies would cost me a lot liao la~ omg lol.*
Bad thing about the show? There's a part 2 hmm.

27/1/18 Sat: Had first Chi tuition with Jayden today. He has the tendency to speak Eng, and not so much interest in Chi subject. Gotta brush up his ability lo!
28/1/18 Sun: Potato and I signed up for "Romance by the Marina" wedding show at One Degree 15 Marina. First time attending such shows, and there were other sponsors like TWC gowns, Edmund Leong photography, Mojo Ideas, Sparkle Live music, IM Perfection (decor) and Stardust wedding shoes ard. *We tot Edmund Leong's photography packages looked nice, and the cartoon vid idea from Mojo Ideas was cute.*
Tried their 6-course meals at $18 nett for couple. The food din stand out though. They had three themes for couples to choose, and though the bright floral one stood out for me at first, I think we'd go for sth simple and blue aft all. *I like round dummy cakes, not square ones haha.*
They gave us time to walk ard and looked at Nova rm and the rooftop terrace whr couples hold their solemnisations at...
I reckon price of the wedding banquets and food quality matters most to me. The view is pretty, but not like I can't do without la haha. Took the hotel's shuttle bus back to Harbourfront city... the interior reminded us of the tram in Melbourne.
*rRandom tThought: Can foresee lotsa preparations, research and planning to do, and I find it kinda overwhelming at times just by thinking, but again, we nv know unless we're close to doing it. PotaTOHs... 加油吧！*
Aft spending a short time looking at some designs and colour of wedding bands that suit us, we headed back for dinner at his place, and auntie was the chef this time! Yummy salmon, corn soup and celery with shrooms for dinner! *Played an interesting game Potato recommended... how change of perspectives could help the player at completing missions!*
29/1/18 Mon: Went Jurong Polyclinic for my blood test at 8.45am. The whole process was fast: from queue no being called, taking the test and making payment... less than 15mins probably, sth I din expect at a Polyclinic. It costed me $25 this time too, half the price I paid for when I did blood test more than a yr ago though. I wonder what components did I missed out sia?

Finally finished "로봇이 아니야" (I am not a Robot) too.
It was interesting at first, how Aji-3 was made based on the female lead, and yet ended up she had to act as Aji-3 as a company for the male lead, who could not tolerate skinship with humans. But soon aft it got boring... cos I could only watch two epi a wk, and yeah besides the love line between the two leads (and I realise with just romance alone I get bored pretty easily), I skipped all other parts of the show lol... no patience keke.
