DInner with Potato @ Hustle & Co + floral arrangement and hens' dinner for WT & YY + KU's belated bday dinner @ District Sushi + Galvin & Joan's wedding @ LIttle Island Brewery
3/4/18 Tues: Some aerial yoga fun before my Yogyakarta trip!
5/4/18 Thurs: Potato recommended Hustle & Co for our dinner... his treat keke. Cosy little restaurant which allows us to choose our own beer that comes with the dinner set. *See my苗条Potato walking towards me in the pic below? Hehe~*
I had their salmon with rosti and fish roes... a bit salty but not bad overall! He had chicken breast meat with portobello mushrooms and fried lotus roots. Their honey midwings were yummy! Nice meet-up with dear just before my overseas trip.
7/4/18 Sat: Took the train down to Hougang, and SS, YY and I grabbed a car to the floral bouquet arrangement place. It was inside a mall, and 3 of us decided to have some dessert ($9.90) Unicorn's milkshake from a cafe nearby while the staff was still clearing out their space. WT and XY came afterwards, and we began making our own vase of flowers!
We were supposed to de-thorn the roses, and bundle the main flowers and fillers together as the staff taught us. However, I tot he was not very professional throughout the 2.5hrs of workshop. Granted he could be tired from so many classes on a Sat, then they shldn't have acccepted our class right? He simply lacks the enthusiasm and patience of a teacher, at times looking like he couldn't be bothered. *Paying close to a total of $200 for a class like this ain't worth imo.* Lucky I hav my girls' company, and that mattered more to me.
We decided to have buffet dinner at Beach Road Kitchen as a celebration for the two hens. There were quite some varieties like local food, western, sashimis and desserts ard. We ordered hand-made fresh flower headbands for them too! *$120 on my part for these.*
Full attendance! And soon it'll be YY's wedding in Jun (I really liked her wedding photoshoot in Korea~) and WT's in Dec! MT's boy Alwyn will be coming into the world in May too!
17/4/18 Tues: Having my aerial yoga lessons again after returning from Jogja, and it was "hugging ourselves upside down" this time! Maybe I had benefitted from all the physical activities in Jogja, so aerial yoga was kinda a breeze this time haha.
19/4/18 Thurs: Ahna, Jess, KW, Clement, KU and I met for KU's belated bday dinner at District Sushi. They had some special menus, and I ordered their salmon belly barachirashi don ($16)... ooo so soft and smooth! LL didn't come last min as she was not feeling well. KW and Clement bought us flavoured-soaps from Santorini thks!
21/4/18 Sat: First time to Little Island Brewery cafe all the way at Pasir Ris, just next to Changi Village Hawker Ctr, to attend Galvin and Joan's wedding dinner. Potato was the driver cum bro for them. *Wore my new black kimono dress paired with the nude tassel earrings~ whee~* The backdrop we took photos at is done up by Tiffany and Galvin~ so artsy and creative of them!
It was buffet dinner with tomato spaghetti, fried fish fillet, mushrooms, wahyu meats, potatoes and pork~ nt bad. Galvin and Joan played the "reveal the 'shoes' (truth)" game, and sang with the band. Galvin even played the drums, together with Potato and their other friends, and performed "We Are Young"!
Casual and pretty fun setting. Then, Potato drove me, PY, Mervyn, SD, Joshua and Tiffany back in the rented 7-seater! *辛苦他了!*
