14/9/16 Weds: Miss Singapore Universe's press con was held at STC, and we saw this posh BMW aft coming back from lunch. *Bryan dun even dare park nex to it lor lol~* 
Met Jess to go ART friend and then had dinner at Swensens at Clementi Mall. 

Used up a lucky draw ticket I got from Great Eastern, so we shared the pepper seafood pasta, sambal grilled fish, ice-cream and drinks... so-so lor.Anyw, Potato bought a box of mooncake for my family from Yew Tee pt... 少糖的, so sweet of him.

15/9/16 Thurs: MY and I drove to d'Beer Garden at Kranji D'Resort for lunch. The car journey was so relaxing, and the road thr feels like us in M'sia. She ordered la la bee hoon over phone before we reached, but we still had to wait like 15mins or so. Only another table of guests when we were thr.

Pretty ex for a 2-3pax's portion, and honestly, two ppl can finish this! The soup, though peppery, and bee hoon was awesome~ I can finish drinking it I swear lol. Just one thing: the la la still has sand in it, oh and some pepper beads too omg... 咬到就快疯掉! Best thing was we managed to be back in office 1-ish pm haha!
Satisfying lunch before I attended Aviva's insurance talk at Marquee in the afternoon. STC changes the company's insurance provider starting 1st Oct 2016.

17/9/16 Sat: By 7+am, WT, YQ, Mich, YY, LC, XY and I were at Westin hotel to get ready to welcome John and his bro for the gatecrash session. *I love the reception decors~ the Safari theme is cool and sweet at the same time!* ST looked to be the OIC, but apparently thr seemed to be none lol. 

Things were pushed back a lil', the game for John and his bro was easy: five promises to Susan~ Aft tat, we went ard checking if the solemnisation set-up was done at 35th flr, as well as the meeting rm for tea ceremony. Got a bit of time to take pic with the bride before hectic-ness erupted~

The order of tea ceremony and solemnisation was swopped ard cos the Justice of Peace reached by the said timing. *Potato was at the solemnisation too~ thr to see me and his "disciple" John play guitar eh lol~* The brothers and sisters had to form two rows and blow bubbles to welcome SS and his dad down the pathway towards John, but omg the wind had to blow in the direction of my face then! -_-''' But mostly the weather was scorching that late morning. Still, I tot John and SS's vows for each other was kinda touching, esp SS's tone... sincerity in every word wor! *十年的感情不容易!*

Aft tat, the groom and bride, as well as brothers and sisters took grp photos at the reception area on the 32nd (?) flr I think. *Westin has a pretty view~* XY helped take photos of me and Potato too keke. 2 of us took one while in the hotel rm too!

Mich and I helped out a lil' at the tea ceremony, before we could finally change into our own clothes to attend SS's wedding lunch. Alex, Leon, YJ and JM were alrdy at the reception, and what's not without a grp photo eh?

We were laughing at the handmade guest cards on our plates done by SS and her friends~ I'm labelled as“孙燕姿”alamak~ very用心of her though. And though they had the idea of confetti all thrown over them and some got stuck onto John's hair and SS's dress, the action of throwing the colourful bits still looked nice la haha!

John's speech was still normal-paced and funny, but SS's part was way funnier cos she macham赶火车~ blabber a whole lot of Swahili at first before she thanked everyone in hi-speed railway speed sia LOL. *Hav to say她的口齿还是很清晰的~ 厉害haha!* 

Mich and I headed up to their room to help SS with her bouquet and changing of gown~ SS so cute in the photo above keke. *原来John tot she resembled Phyllis Quek a lot才被电到!? Lol~* Anyway, we enjoyed the 8-course lunch a lot, and then took photos! The couple invited guests to go up the stage and take pic with them instead of round-tables kind.

Aft lunch ended, YJ, Leon, JM, Stephen and I headed over to MBS and had desserts and snacks at Mozza Pizzeria. The melon ice-cream tasted best among Pistacho and cookies n cream, but the potato wedges were super salty alamak. *Leon's treat~ thks!* I headed home cos was too tired while Potato went on to attend another wedding dinner of his friend's.

19/9/16 Mon: Went to get my free trial of Menicon daily lenses at JE. Did a eye-check... lucky my eye powers maintained cos dunno why I kept thinking the degree worsenes somehw. Tried it for 8hrs or so at hm, and my eyes felt fine.

Met Potato, Ernest and Clare at Yew Tee MRT whr they ended lesson in the evening, and went over to Potato's hm for hm-cooked dinner by him hehe~ There was pork dumpling made by his dad the day before, crunchy kimchi taught by her sis to the family with maggie noodles! It was a simple but filling dish. *The dumpling was really gd!*

20/9/16 Tues: Attended STC's Colorectal Cancer (直肠结肠癌) Awareness talk during lunch. Ppl over age of 50 are at risk, and shld do a FIT test every yr. The FIT kits could be obtained FOC from selected Watsons and Guardians store, as well as SCS office. I took a set for daddy since he doesn't do checks outside, whilst mum does at Polyclinics.

21/9/16 Weds: Went for lunch with MY, JY, Pearlene, HP and Cherry. We reached Sembawang and went for the la la bee hoon since Sembawang white bee hoon was not opened, and the Thai place was full. It was way hot man~ pepper and red chilli omg. Nt bad and much cheaper at $4+, though I would very much prefer the one at d'Beer restaurant.

Met WZ and Pat, and her son Reiden for WZ's belated bday dinner at Concetto by Saveur at The Cathay. We had their Duck confit and mushroom soup... I always liked the extra tangerine flavour by the side but overall the food was so-so la. We got WZ Capitaland vouchers as her gift!
Reiden has grown up quite a bit since the last time we saw him... he can smile and pretend to cry somemore haha. Pat shared with us how she's got no time to herself nowadays too... too busy taking care of Reiden and work.

22/9/16 Thurs: Attended ITSM briefing in the morning~ slpy lol. There was the National Steps Challenge roadshow in STC in the afternoon, and I collected my set of trackers. Too bad we couldn't collect for friends outside as well. Finished the 4th and last lesson of piloxing classes at STC too yay! 

Pi was gonna fly back to China on Friday, so the African gang tot we could gather for supper at Satay by the Bay on thurs night. The big grp of them went cycling while YJ and I only joined them at about 11pm. It took me nearly 30mins to reach Satay by the Bay from Bayfront MRT sia~ but lucky the weather was cooling and it was pretty quiet at that timing, except for some bites from mozzies thr.
They guys ordered only satay and drinks cos most of them were still full from dinner I reckon. Poor ST hasn't had dinner, so she was having prata haha. Met John's cousins too~ 

The rest cycled home while YJ and I cabbed home... whoa $48 sia! *Remind me not to take normal cab home aft midnight unless necessary sia!*

25/9/16 Sun: Potato and I agreed to be the emcees for MT's wedding, so we were at Ban Heng Orchard at 1130am. Saw the pretty bride thr, and we quickly went thru the rundown with the banquet manager, and then sat thr to wait for their tea ceremony to be over haha.

Haha Potato planned to wear the grey inner vest at first, but "complained" the weather was too hot to wear his blazer over tat~ so in the end din wear the vest. *The H&M blazer's material was very comfy! 好抱haha!* The other gals reached aft noon, and the banquet lunch began about 1.15pm or so. It's funny how MT's dad forgot to hand her over to the hubby at whr the groom was standing on the red carpet lol, and continued to walk her daughter till stage area! We had to cue the groom to come forward lor keke~

MT was tearing up as she made her speech aww~ indeed, cos she'd been waiting for D-Day to come in her life! The 2nd bride aft SS in our uni clique~

Headed over to Potato's place to rest cos my legs unexpectedly felt tired from the pumps. *Hehe arigatou Potato for the massage~*

Besides老黄瓜汤、veggie, cucumber and tomato slices with sesame suace, his dad whipped up a new dish apparently~ 蒸小花枝with sweet chilli sauce~ yums! But I guess I was too full from the wedding lunch so I couldn't finish a few mouthfuls of rice, which Potato helped to finish lol. *Okay nex time I'll rmb go your place dinner hav less rice, more料~* Had a gd laugh over RM as usual~ Potato's laughter sometimes super powerful also neh!
Finished watching "또! 오해영".

I admit I decided to watch this show cos of Eric, but the fact that I managed to finish it proves that the plot is interesting! The female lead오해영shares the same name with a pretty girl in high sch, and the male lead Eric's ex happens to be the pretty오해영. Then he somehw had to destroy the plain Jane오해영's marriage, and then fall in love with her. And then, the ex comes back... It's all pretty tangled up but intriguing too. Oh and he is a sound director, and kept seeing fragments of the plain오해영even before meeting her~ tsk tsk... sth like premonition.
Besides the main couple, I really enjoyed watching박수경 (Eric's mean elder sis) and이진상's r/s too~ they r a funny couple! But I skipped the scenes involving his younger bro and the gf... too childish buay tahan.
Watch this purely for the plot. The female lead's acting skills is very gd too.
